Jacalyn Ochoa
Executive Assistant and Corporate Secretary
Jacalyn joined Gulf Coast in 2026 as Executive Assistant and Corporate Secretary, providing executive support to the President | CEO and serving as a key resource to the Foundation’s Board of Directors. She brings a diverse background in human resources, training & development, public service, and hospitality to her role.
Before joining Gulf Coast, Jacalyn served as the Human Resources Coordinator for the City of Sarasota, where she focused on teaching career development and leadership courses, supporting employee onboarding, and serving City employees. Before her career in public service, she worked as a professional chef in Atlanta, Georgia’s fine-dining industry.
Throughout her career, Jacalyn has found purpose in serving others, whether through sharing a meal, helping employees, or supporting the community through public service. She brings the same spirit of service and passion for people to her work at Gulf Coast.
