Erin Minor

Vice President of Community Leadership

Erin Minor is a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience in the sector. A Sarasota native, she grew up witnessing the power of compassion and community through her parents’ nonprofit work. Though she initially had no plans to enter the field, she earned a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida and became a Certified Addictions and Mental Health Professional. Erin is a graduate and member of Leadership Florida (Cornerstone 42) and a graduate of Gulf Coast Leadership Institute (2017).

Erin joined Gulf Coast as Vice President of Community Leadership in March 2025. She is responsible for strategic partnerships, budget management, and leadership within the Community Leadership Team, overseeing grantmaking and advocacy in the foundation’s five focus areas with a priority on Affordable Housing, Mental Health, and Water Quality & Access to Green Space.

Before joining Gulf Coast, Erin served as CEO of Harvest House for 15 years, transforming it from a small recovery program into one of the region’s largest human services providers. A courageous and authentic leader, she is deeply committed to breaking down barriers to human prosperity, ensuring that everyone in the region has the opportunity to thrive.

Outside of her work, Erin and her wife, Jill, enjoy traveling, where Erin combines her passion for exploration with her love of wildlife photography.
