Homelessness & Affordable Housing
Since 2017, Gulf Coast has supported recommendations and goals for a crisis response system aimed at effectively addressing homelessness. In 2018 we invested in a blueprint to support a public-private plan to mitigate this growing crisis and take those recommendations into action. Today, as part of the Sarasota County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) we are able to support implementation of the AHAC recommendations to increase opportunities for affordable housing in our region.
Veteran's Housing
Gulf Coast Regional Scans have continually identified a critical need for affordable housing. Veterans are the backbone of our country who protect our freedom through courage, strength, and dedication. We value the significance of caring for our military heroes. No one should be left behind. The need is clear - safe, permanent, veteran’s housing in Sarasota.
The Bay Sarasota
This cross-sector collaboration supports creating a long-term master plan for one of the most promising properties in all of Florida: The Bay.
