Mason Ayres is a seasoned nonprofit leader with deep roots in Sarasota's philanthropic community. He founded Ayres Charitable Advisors, LLC following a distinguished career in senior leadership across the nonprofit and travel/theme park industries.
Most recently, Mason served as Interim Executive Director at Resurrection House, a faith-based day resource center for the homeless in Sarasota, where he provided strategic leadership during a transitional period. As President of the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Mason led the organization through a period of unprecedented fundraising growth while strengthening operational performance.
Mason draws on extensive frontline fundraising experience to work with local nonprofits in designing impactful campaigns, coaching major-gift teams, building sustainable annual and planned-giving programs, and providing interim executive leadership during transitions. He particularly enjoys collaborating with organizations seeking a seasoned strategic partner to sharpen their storytelling, deliver strategic insight, and help bring gifts across the finish line.

A graduate of Florida State University, Mason resides in the Sarasota area with his wife Anne. In his personal time, he enjoys working out, traveling to new destinations and volunteering at local nonprofits.
