For the past 20 years, Carter served as Vice President of Development at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation where his focus on philanthropic strategies for donors allowed them to meet their charitable and financial goals and support the foundation’s nearly $750 million in community impact. He is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) serving as an American College facilitator and moderator for the CAP program, and currently serves on the board of the Advancement Network (AdNet), the national association of community foundation development professionals.
