We are pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Minor to Vice President of Community Leadership beginning March 2025. In her new role at Gulf Coast, Minor will create and implement Gulf Coast’s key strategies for achieving the Foundation’s vision of thriving communities with opportunities for all together with our donors and nonprofit partners.

Minor currently serves as the CEO of Harvest House, a supportive and affordable housing and hunger relief provider with 380 beds and multiple programs throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties. She started her career there as a case manager and worked through the organization, fully grasping its operations and impact potential. She stepped into the role of executive director in 2010 and then chief executive officer in 2018 and has successfully led and grown Harvest House into the brand and organization we know today.
With an extensive background and expertise in leadership, transformational growth, and partnerships, Minor plans to deliver measurable social impact and community-centered value to her new role at Gulf Coast. She has a lifelong commitment to leading in service of Florida Gulf Coast communities. Minor holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Certified Addictions Professional (CAP). She is a graduate of Gulf Coast Leadership Institute and is currently part of Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class 42, 2024-2025. She also serves as a member of the Sarasota-Manatee Continuum of Care Leadership Council.
Minor is joined by Community Leadership team members Jennifer Johnston, Director of Community Leadership, Hollie Mowry, Community Leadership Associate, Harriet Thompson, Community Leadership Administrator, and will partner with Jon Thaxton who will step into the role of Director of Policy and Advocacy in 2025.
