Donor advised funds .
Donor advised funds at Gulf Coast allow you to earn a tax deduction for your gift now and then direct grants to the charities of your choice, with no geographic restrictions, when you’re ready. We can help you set up a donor advised fund in less than a day!
Consider giving appreciated stock.
Appreciated stock can be an especially tax-wise charitable gift. Stock gifts can help donors avoid capital gains taxes, so their charitable dollars can do even more. Call or email us for stock-transfer instructions.
Give smart through an IRA charitable rollover.
Make a gift from your IRA (up to $100,000 per tax year) directly to Gulf Coast and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution if you’re 70 ½ or older. Please note that these tax-free gifts are not permitted for donor advised funds but there are many other options available that allow you to use these funds to support your favorite charities through Gulf Coast.
Make your gift by December 31.

Checks that are dated and postmarked on or before Dec. 31 and mailed to our office via U.S. Postal Service will be counted as gifts in 2023, regardless of when they are received.

Envelopes sent through a private mailing service like FedEx or hand-delivered, however, must be received by a staff member within our office by the morning of Friday, December 29 to be processed for this tax year.
