The Foundation's Board of Directors approved operating grants to these organizations in June 2010:

Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies - $16,582 to continue providing advocacy services for victims of domestic violence in Englewood. A portion of this grant comes from the Pat Stottsberry Memorial Fund for Victims of Domestic Abuse.

Legal Aid of Manasota - $10,000 to provide managed mediation for homeowners facing foreclosure in Sarasota and Manatee counties. A portion of this grant comes from Anna V. Pfister, Nellie Mae Koss, and Helen K. Hadden Memorial Endowment Fund.

Rotary Futures Program - $9,501 to upgrade its scholarship database program and computer server.

Teen Court of Sarasota - $10,000 to sustain its crime-prevention services for at-risk youth.

These and other grants awarded in June 2010 brought the Foundation's total grantmaking to more than $104 million in the areas of arts and culture, health and human services, education, civic affairs, and the environment.
