Robin Arthur Draper Joins Foundation Staff
VENICE, FL (January 19, 2010) – Robin Arthur Draper has joined the staff of Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice as Vice President for Personal and Family Philanthropy. Ms. Draper will guide the Foundation’s strategy in building a community endowment for our region. She also will work closely with donors at all levels to help them achieve their charitable goals.
“Robin Draper’s expertise will provide donors with new opportunities to transform their community—and themselves—through smart charitable giving,” said Teri A Hansen, president and CEO of Gulf Coast Community Foundation. “The Foundation’s Board and staff are excited to have Robin join our team to help connect philanthropic individuals and families with important causes that need their support.”
Ms. Draper brings more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy to her new role. Most recently, she served as associate vice president of university development at Sonoma State University. She is also a former vice president for fund development at United Way Tampa Bay.
Ms. Draper is a native of Sarasota County. She graduated from Riverview High School and from American University.
